Sample Weekly Shares

Here is a sample season’s worth of weekly shares, this example is from the 2009 season, but is fairly representative. Generally speaking, when the weather is bad for one crop it is good for another. Note: Shares start small in the spring and gradually build in size.
June 16th, Pickup #1:
English (shell) peas, Red leaf lettuce, endive, garlic scapes, radishes, kale, choice of red stemmed spinach or arugula, and a choice of oregano or mint.
June 23rd, Pickup #2:
Escarole, Red leaf lettuce, broccoli, baby salad turnips (edible tops) broccoli leaves, and peas.
June 30th, Pickup #3:
Radishes, mustard greens, broccoli, broccoli leaves, peas, red leaf lettuce, bok choy, summer squash, choice of escarole or endive, and choice of cilantro or dill.
July 7th, Pickup #4
Oak leaf lettuce, broccoli and broccoli leaves, summer squash, choice of turnips or salad turnips, choice of fava beans or peas, choice of tatsoi or kale, choice of dill or cilantro.
July 14th, Pickup #5
Romaine lettuce, Chinese cabbage, kohlrabi, summer squash, carrots, fresh garlic, scallions, peas, basil and choice of mustard or dandelion greens.
July 21st, Pickup #6
Yukon Gold potatoes, white onions, red leaf lettuce, romaine lettuce, carrots, cauliflower, basil, bok choy, cucumbers, choice of peas or beans, and choice of Swiss chard or kale.
July 28th, Pickup #7
Romaine lettuce, radicchio, summer squash, turnips, white potatoes, red onions, string beans, cabbage, choice of broccoli or cauliflower, choice of Swiss chard or dandelion greens, and choice of parsley or basil.
August 4th, Pickup #8
Romaine lettuce, red leaf lettuce, carrots, cauliflower, Swiss chard, cucumber, green peppers, white potatoes, red onions, string beans, and choice of parsley or basil.
August 11th, Pickup #9
Red Boston lettuce, beets, cucumber, garlic, sweet onions, All Blue potatoes, eggplant, peppers, heirloom tomatoes, fennel, string beans, and choice of an herb.
August 18th, Pickup #10
White potatoes, green leaf lettuce, multi-colored carrots, celery, white onions, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, string beans, choice of dandelion greens or Swiss chard, choice of red or Savoy cabbage, and choice of an herb.
August 25th, Pickup #11
Red leaf lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, red skinned potatoes, Rattlesnake pole beans, carrots, red onions, purslane, ground cherries, and choice of an herb.
September 1st, Pickup #12
Romaine lettuce, white potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, Rattlesnake beans, beets, leeks, choice of Swiss chard or dandelion greens, garlic, ground cherries, and choice of an herb.
September 8th, Pickup #13
Red lettuce, carrots, peppers, eggplant, fingerling potatoes, yellow onions, tomatoes, ground cherries, conventional sweet corn, and choice of an herb.
September 15th, Pickup #14
Romaine lettuce, red-skinned potatoes, red onions, beans, celery, summer squash, beets, ground cherries, peppers, and choice of an herb.
September 22nd, Pickup #15
Red leaf lettuce, yellow onions, garlic, kale, white potatoes, carrots, peppers, ground cherries, summer squash, sweet corn (conventional) and choice of an herb.
September 29th, Pickup #16
Red skinned potatoes, Swiss chard, beets, red onions, peppers, ground cherries, delicata squash, small melon, and choice of an herb.
October 6th, Pickup #17
Leeks, white potatoes, peppers, spaghetti squash, arugula, kale, choice of lettuce, edamame soybeans, choice of shallots or cippolini onions, and choice of an herb.
October 13th, Pickup #18
Peppers, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, radishes, winter squash, tatsoi, choice of beans or edamame, choice of curly endive or mustard greens, and choice of an herb.
October 20th, Pickup #19
Boston lettuce, peppers, white potatoes, red onions, butternut squash, baby white salad turnips, choice of arugula or tatsoi, and choice of an herb.
October 27th, Pickup #20
Sweet potatoes, yellow onions, parsnips, acorn squash, radishes, red leaf lettuce, choice of a mustard green- arugula or tatsoi, choice of endive or dandelion greens, and choice of an herb.
November 3rd, Pickup #21
Broccoli leaves and broccoli, buttercup squash, red skinned potatoes, garlic, red turnips, multi-colored carrots, choice of escarole or green leaf lettuce, choice of spinach or Swiss chard, choice of mustard greens, arugula, tatsoi, or turnip greens, and choice of an herb.
November 10th, Pickup #22
Broccoli, Romaine lettuce, parsnips, celery root, yellow onions, carnival or acorn squash, white potatoes, baby bok choy, choice of arugula, mustard green, tatsoi, or kale, choice of escarole, endive, or green leaf lettuce, and choice of an herb.
